TextSnip uses your browser's local storage to save your snippets. This means:

- No sync: Data isn't synchronized to any cloud service

We use the browser's IndexedDB API for storage, which is sandboxed and isolated from other websites and applications.
Website Analytics
Our website (textsnip.io) uses minimal, privacy-focused analytics to understand:
- Page views and popular content (no personal identification)
- General geographic regions (country-level only)
- Browser types for compatibility testing
Important: This website analytics data is completely separate from the TextSnip extension and doesn't track your snippet usage.
